well ither it was … well ither it was him or satan u no johnny songs are of the lord maybe god had mercy on jonny and this nick dude but the point is y r we feeling sorry for them there judgements set wat about ours
figuratively … figuratively speaking cave is a resonance of something what might actually be and cash is the guy who did it all. Cave is one of a story teller but can never compete to a guy who’s probably lived through it all. that little detail just makes cash sound so much better. case in point, nin – hurt. the sound and the level of regret in mr cash’s voice indescribable. thats why reznor himself doesnt call it a cover or a version, but his (cash’s) song.
I love it how Cash … I love it how Cash lays his heart in a song. It is if he really is on death row. He sings and covers great. And his voice is absolutely awesome, it says so much about him and makes him express emotions great. Great song and even greater artist. Johnny, rest in peace.
@127super This song … @127super This song doesn’t appear on the album pictured above, it’s on the Solitary Man album, which is third in the series of studio albums Johnny Cash did for Def American Records. I do agree, it is a cool album cover and my favorite album cover of the series.
One thing that … One thing that makes him great is the way he totally immerses himself into a song. It’s not “Johnnny Cash singing a song about a someone else: but he makes me believe he is on death row coming to terms with the fact that he is going to die. He is that man for four and half minutes.
